STOCKFISH – OFFICIAL SELECTION

The Stockfish Festival in Iceland has chosen “The Empty Street” as one of only 6 shorts to be screened at the festival.

Stockfish is Iceland’s newest and most exciting international film festival. It was founded by heavy weights in the Icelandic film industry such as Iceland’s only Academy Award Nominated director Friðrik Þór Friðriksson who many consider the father of Icelandic modern cinema.

IT TAKES A LOT TO KNOW A MAN

Incredibly humbled that Damien Rice (one of my favorite artists) allowed me to use a song of his latest album My Favorite Faded Fantasy for the film. The song is It Takes a Lot to Know a Man.

Many thanks to Damien, Kári and Ben for the generosity and trust.

I saw Damien play at Warsaw in Brooklyn in 2014 where I shot the picture below. He was nothing short of fantastic.
